Bio

Matt Wisotsky is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and arts leader based in Madison, WI since 2024. He is co-founder, arranger, and woodwind specialist for The Vilasi Project, a chamber ensemble formed in 2025 with harpist Bella Clinton. Matt performs regularly in the Madison area, including with the Madison Gamer Symphony Orchestra and the Verona Area Wind Symphony. As an administrator, he is involved with several local arts projects including the inaugural LAB^4 community curation program at Art + Lit Lab.Originally from New Jersey, Matt completed undergraduate studies at Williams College, studying with Stephen Walt, Zachary Wadsworth, and Kris Allen. He will be starting at the UW-Madison Bolz Center for Arts Administration next academic year, where he is excited to continue supporting community based arts in Madison.
